This course will review site safety procedures, personal protective equipment, containment techniques, decontamination procedures, and incident management systems. In addition, the course will rein-force to the student how to function safely in an area exposed to hazardous materials.

Though classroom sessions and application exercises, this course reviews the procedures for the preparation and application of chlorine “A” & “B” containment kits. Topics include equipment identification, container information, PPE selection, air quality monitoring and application of equipment though simulated, integrated exercises.

Since the primary purpose of our web site is to deliver information to our members quickly and effectively, you will also find us on FaceBook, Twitter and LinkedIn.  All news, updates or any important information will also be posted automatically to these three social networking sites – so that you can choose which method works best for you to receive updates from us.

You will also find us on YouTube and Picasa.  Utilizing YouTube, Association members will be able to share valuable training videos, stories or any other appropriate content that would be of value to all Association members.  With Picasa (Google’s photo sharing social site).  Association members can share photos of Association events and training sessions to share with all.

Besides the addition of social networking, the Association website is now setup to receive and process Association membership applications and renewals.  All payment processing is completed by PayPal and no financial information is stored or maintained by the Association.  This feature is provided for your convenience and we will continue to accept your membership dues payments by mail too.  By the way, you do not need a PayPal account to send us a payment, only a credit or debit card.

We also have a new email list that allows you to choose which format best suits your needs – HTML, Text, Mobile.

If you are concerned about security, you will notice that any personal information that you submit via the web site is done so utilizing SSL and the session is encrypted.  The latest and most up-to-date security measures are constantly maintained on our site to further ensure the protection of members personal data.
